The Inverter is the device that to control an AC motor by changing the frequency of the working power supply, which could be simply understood that the motor speed will became bigger or smaller when the power frequency was changed .To us, the common used brand for revolving door are SIEMENS and LENZE which both are the top brands in the inverter industry .  

The PLC is the brain for a revolving door, it could collect all the information from the detective devices, then process the information and give the feedback to the revolving door to do the suitable activity like revolve, stop, run quickly or run slowly etc..

Logo Power is the electrical device that could convert alternating current into direct current for stable output.

Relay. To the revolving door, the relays could monitor the safety device, like safety rubber, foot sensors etc., to judge they are normal or damaged, which is a big help for the door maintenance .

Encoder. It’s the biggest feature of our revolving doors, most of other Chinese brands didn’t assemble this device. The biggest use of the Encoder is the positioning, it can process the pulse and electronic signal, then to realize the positioning. 

Motor. SIEMENS, 250W for motor . The strength of SEW Gear Units is their simple mechanical structure. The simple design makes the individual adjustment of torque and speed allows for space-saving installation. The torque ranges from 92 Nm to 4,000 Nm.

Additional Remarks /Supplementary Explanation.

The basic process of revolving door operation is as following. When detective radar of the revolving door detects the infrared source like pedestrian, the signal will be sent to the PLC /main control unit of the door. Then, the MCU(PLC) process the signal from the radar, and send the signal out from the corresponding ports, then the operation signal will be sent to the frequency converter and controls the output of alternating driving motor, and make the door revolve accordingly. At the same time, the safety transducer, safety switch, emergency stopping button and other safety devices will monitor the signal, and send the signal to the PLC designated ports, if any of them be triggered,  PLC will send the braking signal to the frequency converter to make the motor stop immediately . After the person pass through the revolving door, the door will rotate 1 or 2 times according to the settings of the control software, and then stop rotating or switch to low-speed rotation mode. When another new person come near to the door, the door will be operated in a new cycle again .
